Iranian Saffron Price Increase again

The Iranian Saffron price has increased  around %16 (Sixteen present) that is compared to the previous month(July to August) in the local market repeatedly. Also, the value of this product has been growing %28(twenty two present) since five months ago(March).

In fact, that main fact causes this condition which farmers and producers really like to sell it at more price.

According to the previous newsletters different facts effect to the Iranian Saffron Market that classified to internal and external of this market.

In the internal side:

1) farmers and producers aren’t satisfied with the present local market situation.

2) Iranian local demand is influenced by two next religious Muslim  month (August to September) which add saffron consumption.

3)When the new Iranian government has started to work, people expect more inflation in Iran’s economy.

External factor:

1)Sanction: Some evidence shows that Iranian talk to 5+1 countries looks unclear which may cause sanctions to continue and have a negative effect on export of this product.

2)Afghanistan: Today, this country is facing a local war which has a negative effect on the export of this Iranian Saffron because it is ranked as the five target market of this product for Iranian exporters.

In fact, Afghanistan is novelist producer and exporter of saffron, which local war may cause serious problems in the near future for Afghanistan suppliers.

In conclusion

In conclusion, There are fundamental reasons for marking up the global value of this product.
